ilegra announces Advanced Consulting partnership with Amazon

ilegra became an Advanced Consulting Partner of Amazon Web Services (AWS), the first company in Southern Brazil to receive this certification, and one of only twenty in Brazil.

“Amazon is an important partner because they meet several technical requirements in relation of the evolution of the entire IT infrastructure. For example, today the client has the same data processing power as a data center, only on the cloud. Our objective is to better understand the model and reach the maximum level of partnership,” said Roger Muller, director of Alliances and SAP at ilegra.

With the offering of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), Amazon services are applied in the main external projects where ilegra works with development and operations. Clients such as Icatu Seguros, Rede Bourbon Hotéis & Resorts, Supply Tax Solution (STS), Vertis, and Oncoprod have already benefited from these solutions. “With these five market cases, we showed we have experience, that we sell Amazon services, and that we have the clients and the skills,” said Muller.

The new category brings benefits to ilegra such as the client referrals from Amazon itself, the active management of a person inside AWS that only services these partners in Brazil, and faster access to new hardware and software technology as Amazon incorporates them into their services. The company also receives access to several resources and to training that will help their clients to implement, execute, and manage applications on the Amazon Web Services cloud.

ilegra began to use the Amazon cloud in their projects in 2013, and ever since have increasingly applied the solution for internal initiatives and for clients, obtaining greater speed and cost reduction. With the official partnership in 2015 to supply software solutions hosted or integrated on the AWS platform, ilegra defined a clear strategy to create, maintain, and monitor all of its environments for development, Quality Assurance, and laboratory tests on the platform. As a result, there was a 40% reduction in internal IT infrastructure costs.
